ARTISTS’ ALPINE HOLIDAY, Ouray, CO. Annually in August at the Ouray Community Center. One of the oldest juried shows in Colorado with over 200 artists and over 400 works of art in all media including photography. BLACK CANYON QUILT SHOW, Montrose, CO. Annually in July at Montrose Pavilion. Presented by Black Canyon Quilters. The three local guilds started this group as a separate entity to handle the quilt show and educational opportunities throughout the year. Admission. CRESTED BUTTE FESTIVAL OF THE ARTS, Crested Butte, CO. Annual in August. Open-air booths in the heart of the historic business district feature professional artisans from across the nation selling handmade fine arts and crafts: ceramics, painting, glass, photography, jewelry, sculpture, wood, and more. DELTA FINE ARTS, Cedaredge, CO. The Delta Fine Arts Member's show. Annual in  July at the Apple Shed. Media for the show includes pastel, mixed media, acrylic/oils, water media, graphics, sculpture, porcelain painting, and black and white and color photography. DOWNTOWN FARMERS' MARKET FESTIVAL, Grand Junction, CO. Thursday evenings, June-Sept. Art, music, and extra shopping time on Main Street. Entertainment on every block including single musicians and larger musical groups. Over 60 participating downtwon merchants stay open late. Great fresh produce too!

DURANGO COWBOY GATHERING, DURANGO, CO.  Annual in October. Live performances of cowboy music and cowboy poetry, Strater Hotel’s Diamond Circle Theatre (699 Main Avenue) . Parade. MAIN AVENUE ARTS FESTIVAL,  Durango, CO. Annual in August. Presented by Durango Arts Center. Quality arts and fine crafts from nearly 100 artists and artisans from around the country, offering unique pottery, photographs, jewelry, painting, sculpture, clothing, and work in metal, glass, fiber and wood. The Music Stage has an eclectic selection of regional performing artists and musicians.
