Her first poetry book, "Lunaria," was published in 1999 and she has been featured in "Geography of Hope: Poets of Colorado’s Western Slope." Benjamen is recognized as one of Colorado’s most accomplished black and white photographers. Her work has been shown in "Southwest Art," "Art of the American West" and "Architectural Digest." Her photographs were also included in "The Art of the American West" exhibit in the United States embassy in Spain. Together
